Early booking for Burns' week (the leading up to 25th January) is very much encouraged! We do have some rolling bookings, so we recommend getting in touch with us by the end of September at the latest, just so you don't miss out.

Feel free to contact us anytime during the booking process. About a month before your event, we will check in to finalise details. We’ll ensure everything is in place and confirm if you need anything else before the day!

On the Night

Frog on a Bike will arrive at your venue 1 hr before the booking time with high-quality PA and lighting to create a fantastic experience. For all events, 60 minutes for setup and soundcheck is the required minimum. In order for smooth set-up, so we are ready on time for your ceilidh, it is essential that our performance space is clear. However, if chairs and tables need to be removed from the dance floor, this can be done whilst the band is setting up without issue.

For a Burns' Night, we typically perform 2 hours of live music straight after supper, with a break halfway. Whatever you have planned, we take care of your entertainment needs, ensuring a seamless evening for you and your guests. If you have a playlist you would like during any breaks, we have connections for most MP3 players to our PA.

A typical Burns' Night with Frog on a Bike might look like this:

• 20:30 Frog on a Bike arrives to set up and sound check*
• 21:30 First dance and/or first set.
• 22:20 Break (perfect for evening food).
• 22:30 Second set.
• 23:25 Closing dance, typically Circassian circle danced to Auld lang Syne, and band play out.
  

We’re flexible with timings to fit your schedule**, and early arrival is available for a small extra fee to ensure a smooth setup.

*Subject to venue requirements and acoustic properties 

**Any midnight finishes will incur a small extra fee.
