Modern Slavery Policy

Modern Slavery Policy

1. Our Commitment

Frog on a Bike are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility to uphold ethical standards and ensure fair, safe, and respectful treatment for everyone we work with.

2. Our Business

We are a UK-based music business providing live ceilidhs for events across the UK. We only work with a regular small and trusted team of freelance professional musicians and event partners.

3. Our Approach

We take the following steps to prevent modern slavery:

  • Only work with musicians and suppliers known to us or through reputable industry networks.
  • Ensure all team members are fairly paid, above minimum wage or at Musicians’ Union recommended rates where possible.
  • Encourage open communication and a respectful working environment.
  • Review contracts and agreements to ensure they reflect fair and lawful working terms.

4. Risk and Due Diligence

While the risk of modern slavery in our business is low due to the nature of our work, we remain vigilant. We carry out informal due diligence when bringing in new collaborators, including:

  • Clear communication about rates, conditions, and expectations
  • Checking that suppliers and venues we work with have their own policies or ethical standards in place where relevant

5. Reporting Concerns

We take any concerns seriously. If a team member or partner suspects any form of exploitation or unethical practice, we encourage them to report it confidentially to Tim Sparrow (Managing Director). We will act swiftly and responsibly.

6. Review

This policy is reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect changes in the business or legislation.
